Subject: Spend $1 in a souvenir store to save Australian tourism industry
Australian tourism industry is at the maximum peak of its crisis ever; The Government wisely helped hotels by sending there people who had to quarantine and that was the logical choice but all the rest of the tourism industry in in struggle; money changers, for example, have no outlets. A way to save part of it is to spend at least $1 in a souvenir store and if most Australians does it, it would be at least a 20 million dollars income for the souvenir stores. Even if jobkeeper is helping some stores, we’ll need them when the borders will reopen! You can buy mugs, T-shirts, creams, sunblock, postcards, Aboriginal art and souvenirs, sunglasses and a lot of other products and by doing that you’ll help people who invested in their business. If they didn’t go broke and closedown their shops, these business lost between 70% and 90% of their incomes in this period and 100% when they temporally shut down as some did. Spend a dollar and help saving our tourism industry!
